HiveMind — Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. What HiveMind is

HiveMind lets private groups plan gaming sessions: create events, claim team slots, ready up, chat, vote on times and track match results. The service is operated by Balthasar Höfinger, Austria (balth.hivemind@gmail.com). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

3. Your content and conduct

4. Third-party services

Optional integrations (Steam, Discord) are governed additionally by the terms of those platforms. HiveMind is not affiliated with Valve, Discord, or any game publisher.

5. Availability and changes

HiveMind is currently provided free of charge. We work hard to keep it running, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of availability or fitness for a particular purpose; features may change, be added or removed. We may introduce optional paid features in the future — nothing you already use will be taken away without notice.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, applicable law, or the safety of other users. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

8. Final provisions

Austrian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app.
